This
unusual brass cigarette case is thought to have been given to British
participants in the 1936 summer olympic games held in Berlin, Germany.
A plate riveted
to the cover is inscribed as follows:
Fur verdienstvolle mitarbiet bei den
olypischen spielen 1936
(In appreciation of your services at the 1936 olympic games)
The
cover also features an engraving of AX201, the original Rolls-Royce Silver
Ghost. A rare historical piece. Make offer. |
